The village Dieren is located in a beautiful area in the Netherlands and is very close to the nature reserve ‘the Posbank / Veluwe’. There are plenty of cycle routes (numbered network) and walking routes such as the Maarten van Rossempad. The river IJssel, to the south of Dieren, also offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful bike rides. You can even cross with a ferry at various points.
Beautiful, authentic little towns such as Doesburg, Zutphen and Bronckhorst are nearby. Bigger cities like Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Deventer and Nijmegen are also close, within 15-25 km.

In the area ‘de Achterhoek’ there are several castles, some you can visit. Futher beautiful attractions are, for example, Burgers Zoo (Zoo), the Open Air Museum (historical museum), the Palace and Gardens of Loo, Apenheul (monkey zoo), the Kröller-Möller Museum (modern art) and a ride on the steam train.

In short: an environment where you can easily enjoy yourself for days (or even weeks 😊).
